The Dancing Head’s stage has been blessed with some of Australia’s most in-demand acts since its inception in 2018.
Bag Raiders, Cosmos Midnight, Cassian and Client Liaison just to name a few.

We knew there was a demand in our beloved coastal towns that was DYING to be met.
The idea for Dancing Heads was the following...
Expand on the success we were having in the event and festival market in regional VIC.
We knew there was a demand in our beloved coastal towns that was DYING to be met.
The goal was to take what we had learnt from Coastal Jam and turn up the volume about 10x.
Doubling the capacity of our largest event at the time and creating a monstrous annual Boxing Day extravaganza in Barwon Heads.
Safe to say we were shaking in our boots preparing for the worst as we’d never had such a budget on artists and production.
Not to mention the drag it was to acquire permits to have a festival looking over the beach in a huge car park!
But you live and you learn right, we’re better off from it.
So fast forward to Boxing Day 2018.

So what’s the plan for Dancing Heads in the future?
To continue to scale and perfect our operation in Victoria and then when the time is right, venture interstate to other amazing underserved coastal markets.
How we are going to do that is to continue developing life long, meaningful connections in the industry to accelerate our goal of uniting people through dance.
